Mother's Day 2010
This year for Mother's Day, I got a Mother's Weekend! Kyle has been out of town a lot, so gave me a weekend "off". It was so much fun to just relax with my little family. Kyle and I had date night on Friday night. We went downtown for dinner and took a carriage ride around the Capitol. Kyle cooked for me the rest of the weekend and did the baby duties. And we also went furniture shopping and bought a couch! Here are a couple of pictures from my second Mother's Day in the rocker I got last year for Mother's Day.

And a flashback to my first Mother's Day!

I love my little girl so much and am so blessed to be her mommy!

First Swimming Lesson
Today, Kyle and I took Willa to her first swimming lesson at the YMCA. It was unseasonably cool this morning at 9 am and the class took place in an outdoor pool. Needless to say, we were all keeping our shoulders under the water for the thirty minutes we were there. But Willa was the star student! Blow bubbles? Check. Kick? Check. Jump to the lay on your back and put your face in the water lessons? Check. Check. She's fearless and really would have liked us to let her go and swim on her own, but it was also annoying her that we wanted her to keep "performing" when she just wanted to play with the noodle and talk with the other babies.

Swimming!
Mommy got Willa's baby pool out and blown up this weekend. It has been quite a hit! Especially compared to last year...

She loves to get in and out of it over and over, pull grass and put it in there, and splash, kick, put her face in, and blow bubbles!
Here are a few cute ones from today. We were hiding in the shade to avoid more sunscreen this week...
