3 months old!

Willa is three months old today! She is getting so big. She can hold her head up and roll over. She loooves to look at ceiling fans and lights. We love her so much and are such blessed parents!

Uncle Tim, Romberg, and Gin visit!

Today, Uncle Tim and cousins Romberg and Virginia stopped by for a few hours to meet Willa on their way to D.C. It was so much fun to see them! We so wish Birmingham was closer to Austin. These two girls are SO much fun!

Willa Rolled Over!

This morning I put Willa in her play pen while I packed a few boxes in the kitchen. While I was doing this, I looked over and Willa rolled about 3/4 of the way over! I think it shocked her a little bit when she flopped back down to her back because her eyes got HUGE! I made a big deal of it, though, clapped, and got a giggle out of her. During her next few attempts, I proceeded to grab the video camera so that I could document it for Kyle to see when he gets home Friday. Typically, the camera turns on and tells me that the disc is too full...right as Willa rolled all the way to her tummy!!!!! Well, we had a little celebration together and will do it again in a few hours for the camera :) She is getting so big, which leaves me with a bittersweet feeling these days. But I am so proud of her and can't wait for whatever the future holds for us as a family.

2 firsts in 1 day!

Okay, so not only was today Willa's first pool experience. When I gave her a bath, I decided to try it without the sling. She is starting to roll and she is so big that she almost hops out of the tub when the sling is in there. Thus, no sling and it was so much easier! I can't believe that a week shy of 3 months old and we are already bathing her like this. Such a big girl!

Water Baby

Today, I bought Willa her first kiddie pool! She can't sit up on her own yet, so the pictures are very close up, as I was keeping her up the whole time. She started figuring out how to kick her legs and splash a little bit and seemed to love the water!








Her diaper was the size of her head! Need to get those swimming diapers next time. :)

Kyle's first Father's Day

Today we celebrated Father's Day, even though it is next Sunday. Kyle will be out in the field next weekend and we didn't want to miss celebrating together as a family. Willa and Mommy made Daddy his favorite chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast and gave him cards and new Oakley sunglasses! We had such a great day spending time together as a new little family!

11 weeks old!

Willa turned 11 weeks old this Saturday! She is getting so big and so silly!


To Mommy's delight, loves Baby Einstein, which she watches every morning while Mommy eats breakfast for the first time in 2 months! We are having so much fun with our baby girl!
She does tummy time a lot and is kicking and already trying to crawl away. In this picture, though, she decided her thumbs were way more entertaining. She is also rolling around on her back a lot (usually when we are trying to change her diaper) and using her abs to try and sit up whenever she is laying back for too long.
