Willa's First Christmas!

On Christmas Eve, we took Willa to her first Christmas Eve service at Round Rock UMC. On the drive there, it snowed for a few minutes! It was the 4 o'clock service for children. It was amazing because there were a lot of songs to sing together and different people from Bethlehem, like a shepherd and angels, to tell the story of Jesus' birth. We will be going to this service for years to come, I'm sure.

When we got home, we took pictures, ate dinner, and let Willa open her first Christmas present! She didn't nap very well, though, so she went to bed early so that Santa could stop by as quickly as possible!

We woke up about 7 am on Christmas morning and had breakfast.

Then the present opening began! Willa loved ripping paper and playing with everything she got! Her curiosity made the gift opening last over and hour- probably the last time this will ever happen in our family!

She was also very fond of the pile of wrapping paper. It made great noises and Daddy kept covering her in paper. She loved finding her way out!

Poor baby, though, has a little cold, so has been attacked with tissues all morning and is already done with her first nap by 10:30 am.

It was an amazing first Christmas for us as a new family. We love our baby girl so much. She is such a blessing. And we are so blessed at how much our baby is loved by friends and family. Merry Christmas!!!
