Willa's Second Fourth of July!

Happy Fourth of July!
This is my favorite picture because it sums up the goofy pair I live with. Kyle is doing a SUPER fake smile, and Willa is doing her grumpy face. Nice.

This year, Trevor and Stephanie came to visit and we went over to a friend's house in Volente to swim and eat hot dogs! It was a fun, relaxing day with friends.

And Willa was nice and worn out from all the swimming when we got home in the evening. She crashed before fireworks started, but watched them on TV and loved to "ooooh" and "ahhh" at the fireworks and the music. To our surprise, she slept right through the fireworks going off in our neighborhood. Yes, IN our neighborhood. Ours is outside city limits, so as long as you are in your own driveway, it's a free for all. Freaks me out, since I'm not into my house burning down, but it was convenient to be able to sit on our front porch and see three shows all within a block.
