On Veteran's Day, one of Kyle's few days off this month it seems, we packed up early and headed to Cameron Park Zoo in Waco for Willa's first trip to the zoo! She was so excited to see "monks" (monkeys) and things that go "roar"! It was a perfect day to go since schools didn't have the day off and Willa could walk/run without us worrying about losing her. She was such a little trooper, too, as we got there about an hour before lunch and nap time. She toughed it out, LOVED saying "hi" to all the animals, then crashed on the car ride home :)
This gibbon did a great tight rope routine for us

See? It was pacing back and forth, watching Willa as she went up and down the steps...freaked her mommy out!

After lunch at Taco Cabana with Mommy and Daddy, it took less then 5 minutes on I-35 to put this sweet baby to sleep. She slept the entire way back to Elgin clutching Buddy and her new giraffe or, as she calls it, the "moo" :)
