Back in Texas!

Willa is finally home! Lucia and I drove Willa, the dogs, and the cat back to Texas from NC this week. Willa did so well in the back seat with her Aunt Lucia and we got here in two days rather than the expected three. That is not to say the trip was drama free, however. We made it to Atlanta around 7 pm on Tuesday and proceeded to get the animals and Willa into the hotel. I then went to the U-Haul to get our bags and the Pack n Play out. Well, needless to say, it wouldn't open due to the rocker having slid over the inside lip of the U-Haul door. What next?? Shopping at Wal-Mart! We needed clothes, underwear, diapers, wipes, a small Pack n Play, a litter box, and dinner. It was an exhausting day, but we made it to Lindale the next day and got to see Willa meet her Grandpa Fred, Great Grandparents Merle and James, Audrey and Robert, and Marcello a day early!



Willa has already started helping Grandpa water the plants in the back yard in the morning. She LOVES watching the water come out of the hose while he points out all the weeds she needs to pull in the next couple of years. It's great to be home!!!
