Big Girl

Now that I have gotten used to the fact that my baby girl can pull up to her knees before 7 months, things have been hectic with trying to keep Willa wrangled in and safely away from dog tails, vacuum cords, etc...(baby proofing still needs to be done, but no worries- Mommy is always close behind to see where she is going next). But since we got her "cage" life has been bliss! She loves playing in there and is good about being in it alone for a little while so I can get some things done around the house.

But, as babies do, Willa surprised me again this morning! I went in to get her around 8 am and she was pulled up as usual, but this time to her feet! She isn't tall enough yet to need to lower her crib mattress again, but it won't be long!



Then we met Sarah, Tim, Ella, and Jill for lunch at Chuy's (yum). Jill took some cute pics and posted them on Facebook, so I stole them (thanks, Jill!). Ella and Willa are becoming fast friends!

They were so cute! At one point, Ella stuck her hand out to touch Willa and Willa opened her mouth in an attempt to chew Ella. Babies are so funny!


Why does it appear that my daughter is going for my beer? Thank you, Ella, for keeping her in check. :)
