Starting Family Traditions

This year, we wanted to start a new family Christmas tradition and go out to dinner, then take Willa to the Zilker Tree and to see the houses lit up on 37th. Willa LOVED it! "The yucks! The caz!" ("The lights. The colors!")

First cup with a real straw at Chili's...very focused.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Chuy's Christmas Parade

Two days after Thanksgiving (no pictures since I cooked- fun for Mommy!), we took Willa to the Chuy's Christmas Parade with the Meyers. It was a blast!

Willa was most concerned with all the balloons people were letting go of...

Willa also really enjoyed the drummers in every band we saw...

Willa's First Trip to the Zoo

On Veteran's Day, one of Kyle's few days off this month it seems, we packed up early and headed to Cameron Park Zoo in Waco for Willa's first trip to the zoo! She was so excited to see "monks" (monkeys) and things that go "roar"! It was a perfect day to go since schools didn't have the day off and Willa could walk/run without us worrying about losing her. She was such a little trooper, too, as we got there about an hour before lunch and nap time. She toughed it out, LOVED saying "hi" to all the animals, then crashed on the car ride home :)

This gibbon did a great tight rope routine for us

Hungry JaguarSee? It was pacing back and forth, watching Willa as she went up and down the steps...freaked her mommy out!

After lunch at Taco Cabana with Mommy and Daddy, it took less then 5 minutes on I-35 to put this sweet baby to sleep. She slept the entire way back to Elgin clutching Buddy and her new giraffe or, as she calls it, the "moo" :)

Halloween 2010

For Halloween this year, Willa was a Little Lamb! We dressed her up on October 30th for the Meyers' Halloween party and took some pictures outside before we went. She was more interested in playing in the front yard and looking for airplanes, but we got some cute ones....

Daddy was an Auburn fan since the party and the Auburn game were happening at the same time :)

And here are Mommy and Meredith at 28 weeks 4 days :)

She LOVED the cookies!

Next year, maybe we'll attempt Trick Or Treating...
